Terms and Conditions (Whole Cakes):

Orders must be made 3 working days in advance, before 12:00PM (excluding Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays). Contact reservations@thesapling.sg to enquire for urgent orders.

Changes / Cancellation

All cakes are specially prepared by our SHATEC pastry chefs and pastry student trainees. Cancellation is not allowed. Please contact us at reservations@thesapling.sg for any queries regarding your order.

Exchange and Refund Policy

Once order has been collected, it is not exchangeable or refundable. Items not picked up, or received on the indicated collection/delivery date will be forfeited.


Final receipt will be subjected to 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Price and availability of whole cakes are subject to change without prior notice.

Payment Methods

Cash, NETS, Credit Card (Mastercard & Visa only); COD for delivery.

Delivery / Self-Collection

You may opt for delivery or self-collection to receive your order.

No minimum spend is required to qualify for delivery, however, an additional $30 per trip is applicable.

Delivery is limited to addresses within Singapore main island. For any special arrangements, please contact our friendly team at reservations@thesapling.sg.


Mon-Fri | 9.00AM – 5.00PM*

Sat | 9.00AM – 5.00PM*

*For requests outside of standard delivery hours, an additional $10 is chargeable.

Self-Collection at The Sapling, located in SHATEC:

Mon-Thu | 8.30AM – 6.00PM

Fri-Sat     | 8.30AM – 10.00PM

Cake Design

Cake colour and designs are subject to slight variations.

Cake Message

Please ensure that the wordings are accurate upon placing your order.

Kindly note that we will not be able to accommodate long messages due to space constraints.


Complimentary candles can be provided for every order upon request. Please indicate the number of big and small candles required in your order.

The Sapling reserves the right to amend any of the Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
